The Nitto ATP Finals is the season-ending championship of the ATP Tour, featuring the top eight men’s singles players and top eight doubles teams competing for the year-end title. The 2026 edition takes place from 15 to 22 November at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy, marking the sixth consecutive year the Italian city has hosted the event.

What to Expect

The ATP Finals uses a round-robin format unlike any other event on the ATP Tour. The eight qualifiers are divided into two groups of four, with each player competing in three round-robin matches. The top two players from each group advance to the semi-finals, followed by a final to determine the champion. All matches are played on indoor hard courts.

Jannik Sinner is the defending champion, having defeated Carlos Alcaraz 7-6(4), 7-5 in the 2025 final without dropping a set all week. The Italian holds the best ATP Finals win percentage in history at 88.2 per cent. Sinner and Alcaraz have established themselves as the sport’s leading rivalry, and both are expected to qualify once again in 2026. Novak Djokovic, who holds the all-time record of seven ATP Finals titles, Alexander Zverev, and Daniil Medvedev are among the other players likely to feature.

The Inalpi Arena, Italy’s largest indoor sporting venue with a capacity of over 15,000, was originally built for the 2006 Winter Olympics. It provides an atmospheric setting for the event, with Turin’s passionate tennis fans creating a particularly vibrant environment when home favourite Sinner takes to the court. Sessions are scheduled at 11:30 and 18:00 during the round-robin stage, with the final at 15:00 on 22 November.
