Paris-Nice is a week-long stage race running from the French capital southwards to the Cote d’Azur on the Mediterranean coast. Known as the Race to the Sun, it is one of the most important early-season stage races on the UCI WorldTour calendar.
The race provides an early test of general classification credentials, featuring a mix of flat sprint stages, hilly terrain, and often a decisive mountain-top finish in the final days before the traditional conclusion along the Nice seafront.
