The 2026 MLB Draft takes place from 11 to 13 July in Philadelphia as part of All-Star Week festivities at Citizens Bank Park. The first round moves to Saturday for the first time since the draft became part of All-Star Week in 2021.
The MLB Draft sees all 30 teams select amateur players from colleges, high schools, and international programmes. The draft order is largely determined by the previous season’s reverse standings, with competitive balance picks also distributed throughout the rounds.
