SUMMARY:UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Horiguchi
DESCRIPTION:Event Overview\nUFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Horiguchi takes place on Saturday 20 June 2026 at the UFC APEX in Enterprise\, Nevada\, in the Las Vegas Valley. The card is headlined by a flyweight rematch between Manel Kape and Kyoji Horiguchi\, eight years on from their first meeting in Japan. \nMain Event: The Rematch\nManel Kape and Kyoji Horiguchi first met in December 2017 at the Rizin World Grand Prix Final in Saitama\, Japan. Horiguchi\, then regarded as one of the best flyweights on the planet\, defeated Kape via arm-triangle choke in the third round. That result set both men on divergent paths that have eventually converged again in the UFC Octagon. \nHoriguchi went on to dominate the RIZIN bantamweight division\, claiming the RIZIN and ONE Championship bantamweight titles\, before returning to the UFC’s flyweight division later in his career. Kape\, meanwhile\, developed across multiple promotions before making his UFC debut and establishing himself as one of the division’s most dangerous finishers\, with his punching power consistently surprising opponents at 125 pounds. \nThe rematch carries genuine stakes for both men. A win for Kape confirms his status as a credible title contender at flyweight. A win for Horiguchi\, still a dangerous finisher in his own right\, places him back in the frame for a shot at the belt he has long coveted. \nNotable Undercard Bouts\nIon Cutelaba takes on Navajo Stirling at light heavyweight in a fight that could have meaningful implications for the 205-pound rankings. Cutelaba fights with a heavy\, physical style more associated with heavyweights than light heavyweights\, while Stirling is one of the more technically disciplined opponents he has faced. At bantamweight\, Karol Rosa and Luana Santos meet in a women’s contest that carries division ranking significance and has been anticipated by fans of the 135-pound category. \nVenue: UFC APEX\nThe UFC APEX is the promotion’s purpose-built production facility and event venue in Enterprise\, Nevada. The state-of-the-art arena hosts Fight Night cards throughout the year and delivers a tightly produced\, broadcast-focused atmosphere that suits action-heavy cards. Performing at the APEX represents a step toward the main stage of numbered PPV events for fighters at this level of the rankings. \nSchedule\nPreliminary bouts begin at 5:00 p.m. ET\, with the main card starting at 8:00 p.m. ET. The event streams on Paramount+ in the United States. \nHow to Watch\nIn the United States\, UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Horiguchi streams in full on Paramount+ with no additional PPV surcharge. In the United Kingdom\, the card airs on TNT Sports. International arrangements vary; check local listings for the relevant broadcast partner in your territory. \nWhat to Watch For\nThe flyweight division has undergone significant change at the top in recent years. Both Kape and Horiguchi are established names capable of pressing for title contention\, and the shared history between them gives this rematch a resonance that extends beyond the divisional stakes alone. With the finishing ability both carry and the weight of history between them\, this main event is a compelling one for casual and hardcore MMA fans alike.
