SUMMARY:UFC Fight Night: Hooker vs. Parnasse
DESCRIPTION:UFC Fight Night: Hooker vs. Parnasse takes place on Saturday 5 September 2026 at the Accor Arena in Paris\, France. The 14-fight card streams live on Paramount+\, with prelims starting at 5pm BST (12pm ET) and the main card beginning at 8pm BST (3pm ET). \nMain Event: Dan Hooker vs. Salahdine Parnasse\nThe headline contest pitches veteran lightweight Dan Hooker against Salahdine Parnasse in the Frenchman’s long-awaited UFC debut. The bout is contested at lightweight (155 lbs). \nParnasse arrives at the Accor Arena as one of the most decorated fighters to make his UFC debut in recent years. The 28-year-old is a two-time KSW Featherweight Champion and a former KSW Lightweight Champion\, widely regarded as the best fighter operating outside the Octagon before signing with the promotion. Fighting on home soil in Paris\, Parnasse will have the entire arena behind him from the first bell. \nHooker\, the New Zealander\, has been one of the most action-packed fighters in the lightweight division throughout his UFC career. A win over a debutant ranked fighter of Parnasse’s calibre would carry genuine weight in the 155 lbs rankings; a defeat\, however\, would be a significant setback for a fighter who has had inconsistent results in recent outings. Hooker has spoken publicly about being one of the few fighters willing to take this fight in Paris\, giving the build-up an added edge. The matchup has all the ingredients of a fan-friendly main event: a partisan crowd\, genuine stakes for both men\, and two fighters with finishing ability. \nCo-Main Event: Fares Ziam vs. Axel Sola\nThe co-main event is an all-French lightweight contest between Fares Ziam and Axel Sola. Both fighters have followings in France\, and placing this bout second on the card ensures the Paris crowd will be loudly engaged before the main event begins. A win for either man would represent a significant statement on home soil in front of the Accor Arena crowd. \nFull Main Card\n\nDan Hooker vs. Salahdine Parnasse — Lightweight (155 lbs)\nFares Ziam vs. Axel Sola — Lightweight (155 lbs)\nMichael Page vs. Nursulton Ruziboev — Middleweight (185 lbs)\nMorgan Charriere vs. Felipe Lima — Featherweight (145 lbs)\nOumar Sy vs. Modestas Bukauskas — Light Heavyweight (205 lbs)\nNathaniel Wood vs. Pavel Andrusca — Featherweight (145 lbs)\n\nMichael Page vs. Nursulton Ruziboev\nMichael Page\, the British striker known for his unorthodox movement and highlight-reel knockouts\, faces Nursulton Ruziboev at middleweight. Page moved up from welterweight and has been rebuilding his record in the 185 lbs division. Ruziboev is a dangerous opponent with powerful wrestling and ground-and-pound; the stylistic contrast makes this one of the more intriguing bouts on the card. \nNathaniel Wood vs. Pavel Andrusca\nBritish featherweight Nathaniel Wood takes on Pavel Andrusca\, who stepped in as a late replacement after Mairon Santos was pulled from the card due to illness. Wood is known for his submission grappling and will be looking to reassert himself in the 145 lbs division with a positive performance. \nHow to Watch\nThe full event — prelims and main card — streams on Paramount+. The venue has hosted major combat sports events before and provides an electric atmosphere for a card headlined by a French fighter making his long-awaited Octagon debut.
